 The Testor Corporation is excited to offer the Visible Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 88. This ½ scale plastic model kit features over 150 precision molded parts that assemble to a complete visible engine measuring over 13” tall. The Testor Visible Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 88 includes clear external parts that allow a clear view of all key internal parts. Internal parts really operate, demonstrating the mechanical operation of the real engine. Parts include the crankshaft, pistons, rods, rocker arms, valves and camshafts, plus clear external parts and display base. The engine uses an electric motor operated by 3 AA batteries to demonstrate engine operation and includes a sound card recording of the real Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 88. This adds authentic sounds to the thrill of watching your own Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 88 in action.

I have one of those on my coffee table.

It just about wore me out putting it together.

I was determined to finish because the skill level marked on mine was "9 and up".

8 hours later it was done.

A very cool piece!

If anyone is ineterested in this item you can order direct from Testor Corporation. They also have a smaller scale one for $49.99 plus S&H here, however this one doesn't visible show the working parts inside.

Is Testor releasing a 110 upgrade kit for this engine?  

Is there a chrome upgrade option for the black parts?

Your safe with the chrome but the 110 upgrade will void the warranty.  ;)
