Stock Seat for 2001 FXDWG2

What do you  guys think the chance of finding a stock seat for the FXDWG2?

Have a line on one but it does not have the stock seat.

I have a new in the box black seat for a fxdwg3 that i might let go. If you are interested let me know. I will be leaving for Sturgis on monday, so if you don't hear from me I'll be back when its over.      Tate

Been looking for a spare one myself for over a year. They show up occasionally. Most people don't know what their origin is so they aren't advertised as a seat for an FXDWG2, sometimes not even a wide glide, just a brown Harley seat. If you find one, jump on it.

Thanks, I haven't really looked.  I think I may pass on the one that doesn't have the stock seat.  I think I have found a nicer one, from the original owner for the same money.

There's plenty of them out there. Be patient and you'll get just what you want. Still see a lot with under 5k miles. Many owners thought they were buying a "limited edition, collectors item" that would only go up in value. Guess the sales guy was wrong.

Best looking bike HD ever made tho and the red ones are the fastest!

If cost is no factor you can get a replacement on BikeBandit.com Pretty expensive, but I was able to get a rear replacement for my wg3.  Have seen a few on ebay and I think more so now that prices have fallen and more are being customed.

Picked up a mint stock seat for a WG2 on ebay today for a very reasonable price considering they are no longer available from HD. Was advertised as a seat for a Wide Glide not a CVO, Switchblade or FXDWG2. If you're still looking, they are out there.

I have the factory tan Seat from my 2001 FXDWG2..
My father installed a Mustang seat just after he purchased the bike new..
What do these sell for?
