My soon to be son-in-law Fights 10/3/05  in the ufc at the hard rock in vegas .Will be on spike tv live . Reno one week Vegas the other Better check my tires-----AK

Brandon 'The Truth' Vera will be fighting live on 2/4/06 on Pay For View.  The fight will take place in Vegas however, sold out in the first ten minutes tickets were on sale.

Check you local listing on Pay For View on 2/4/06 for the UFC fights.

AK,
I noticed you mentioned Brandon was from Va. Could he possible be from central Va.? I think I remember there was a guy that tried out for one of those WWF/WWE reality shows where if you win you get a contract with WWF/WWE and he was from near where I live.

If this is who I'm thinking about we will have to visit his hometown when you and JC come east this summer.

Not sure where Brandon is originally from althought he's been in San Diego for awhile.  However, one of Andy's life long family friends, Dan Puter (the blond haired guy) is the one who won the WWF Smack Down Million Dollers however, he's from Cupertino, Ca.  I met both Brandon and Dan at Andy's home.

I've been trying to think of the guy that was from this area that was in similar competition, and for some reason "The Raven" comes to mind (remember I suffer from "CRS"). Not sure if that's what he wrestled under or not. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Fired00d- IN late 04 early05 Dan Puder won a tough man contast the wwe and spike tv put on for million dollar prize. Site members across the us and abroad. helped by voting each week. another reason this site rocks.  Brandon Vera is from Norfolk,VA and was trained by Lloyd Irvin who has training centers in  VA,MD,and DC. MY daughter and Brandon were at  Lloyds for a week at new years .Brandon was training for up comming fight 2/5/06 . We,ve got tickets and have heard scalpers are getting 9k per for good seats. I wonder how much trouble i,d be in if i sold my wifes ticket?---Regards AK
