I watched it & loved it.Was really a bigger upset than last nights game.US amatures against the Soviet red army team.The biggest hocky powerhouse at the time.
Just watcher the US girls mop up the ice with Sweden.Looks like the gold medal round for both the men & women will be The US & Canada.

Well Canada just got rid of the Russians in a good old time hockey game. US beat the Swiss 2 -0. Canada will play winner Sweden - Slovakia, US will play winner Finland - Czech game right now 0 - 0 late 2nd period.

As much as I am happy they won lets face it ,,, they were going to win either gold or silver. Not much suspense there. I think womens hockey is brutal to watch unless the US and Canada are playing. Sorry but 22 to 0 is not my idea of good hockey even if we do win........
The Olympic Games ruined their hockey program years ago when they allowed the Pro players to participate in my opinion. That being said I will still be cheering for the Red and White because it is the Canadian thing to do

I have had the pleasure of photographing the female curlers a while back and yes they would look good riding on a SERG

Hey we were lucky the Russian team was off their game. Its luck at that level, blow outs should not happen, weather its 7-3 or 6-0 nothing, the teams at that level are better than in days of old.
