Yes, you have it right. You need the 4 point docking to mount the rack. You will NOT have to relocate the antenna.

But the 4point docking is also needed by the stock backrest , the 4point docking is allready on the stock bike i guess , but not such complete that the rack could be mounted .
Is this it ?

your bike comes w/ the 2 point mount. remove it and replace w/ the 4 point. the old 2 points make nice paper weights.   :)

When I ordered the chopped tour pack I was told I would need the antenna relocation kit, Luckily my SERG3 wont be here for a couple of months, I will have to do some reserch on this! That was 70 bucks I could buy some more chrome with If I dont need it!

If you use a tour pak you need to do something w/ the antenna. If just using a detachable rack the antenna can stay where it is. Antenna clears the rack, not the pak.

I would suggest NOT to but the antenna relocation kit if you are installing the tour pak. Save yourself some $$$ and get the TT2C2 Tune Trapper hidden antenna. Here's a link: http://www.ecshylites.citymax.com/catalog/item/604191/721930.htm

You will still have the issue of 2 holes in your tour pack where the antenna is supposed to go!  You have to bastardize the antenna kit because it for regular RG's even though the catalog says its for a SERG.
