Tri-bar tail light
« on: March 01, 2009, 07:45:13 PM »

Hello, I'm very happy I came across your site, it's given me a few great ideas for my FXDWG2. I found a Harley part that would look great on these models, but unfortunely it's for softtails only. I'm talking about a "tri bar LED tail light". Does any know why it will fit a softtail and not a Wideglide? The bob tail fenders look similar, but there must be a reason why Dynas are not listed. If I cannot make this part work, does anyone have a suggestion on other nice tail lights? Thanks, please reply. Joe

whats the rear tyre on ur FXDWG2  a 150?

the tri bars r fitted to the 07 and later bikes with a 200rear, u will have to measure ur rear fender up but my guess is it wont fit.

Joe, my guess is that the tri-bar tail light could be modded to fit. You just have to find the person with the right skills. I have done several mods to my WG2 that weren't supposed to work but I found someone who could make it work/fit. Be persistent and get what you want. Saw your bike in the member rides photo section and I like the bags you had done. Keep up the great work!
