Holy crap! Just got in from the garage! Can't help being out there. Hooking up the BT, even a little cleaning! Came in and caught all this! Won't answer them all individually. So thanks very much to everyone that responded, for all the kind and funny thoughts! Makes my heart soar like an eagle!!!

And every HD I buy is a FINE Specimen (or I wouldn't own it!) Them giving us fine specimens to work with has never been the problem! I've always maintained that! They've just always needed some help though! Some more than others! But the QC in today's versions just plain stinks! I've never had to do so much to one as I had to do to Cybil! But now she's where she needs to be! And you can bet your ass Joy will get the same treatment as necessary! But no thank you note is in order! They got their $$$. We're even in my book!!!

And I hope ya told her she gets to ride on the back of one of the best HD's ever made Sean! That's what she gets!!!

And Ken, you can take that stock 110 and sti....NEVERMIND!

HeHe!!! Yeap Dave, sure is! Binx took most of em. We're still getting used to the Nikon. But it's a great camera!!!

And in the 45 min I had her out today, I LOVE THIS BIKE ALREADY!!! She rides like a dream! I think I'll air her out in the Catskills this weekend! I already know she needs some engine help. But they all do. Stock doesn't really cut it for me. And I mean more than Pipes, Carb, Ignition, which I've already done. But that's no biggie. Vern can work his magic with her heads, get some compression in there and just the right cam. But I'm in no hurry right now for that. I'd just like to ride her, get used to her, and enjoy her!!!

Thanks Phil! It was a bike I've always admired, and already knew it was a Hoist kinda bike. And it somewhat rides like it already. I was impresssed by the suspension actually, although the bikes setup too low for the twisties! But the suspension's surprisingly responsive! It's the Hot Rod look and feel that I go for in all my bikes! I'm fairly happy with the seating position, bars, and forward controls. But that's after only 45 minutes this evening. We'll see how I feel on a trip to the Catskills this weekend hopefully!

That was the perfect ending to the 1st chapter of this great saga.  From the site members on the left coast to all the banter during the inital purchase and then 'set-up' phase, to the trip and waiting for the arrival and then the great pics of the arrival.........just great, Hoist.  It is a really neat Harley....I'm a tad envious, but living it vicariously thru you.  Ride safe and I'll see ya in MV (just not on Joy).  har!  spyder
