Swap '11 full seat setup for '12?

If anyone is interested, I'd probably be willing to swap my brand new '11 stock seat/backrest/strap for a '12 setup in like condition.
Let me know.

I have a full CVO Ultra setup for long-haul and actually like the '12 SESG3 setup for buzzin' around town.

I was trying the same idea...you got lucky with some interest.......Hopefully somebody else with a '12 reads this and like the idea also...my '11 seat is ready and waiting to go.

Hey Mike -

Yeah - be a good deal for '12 owners that want a rider backrest.
I gave my '11 seat to my bro to retro-fit his 2010 - you know, the JOKE seat. H-D really screwed the pooch on that one.  :confused5:

Anyhoo - he LOVES it!

I might have to order up a '12 fitment on HIS dime - lol.

Just to raise some interest in the thread - one of my fav pics attached:

The '10 was nice, but when they came out with the black on the '11 I had to have it. The only thing was that my '10 ran cooler.....still trying to figure out if it's the different tuner or the lowers :confused5:

But those lowers are nice when the temp drops!

I have the C&C solo seat on mine now and my '11 seat is just sitting on a shelf....figured if I could get a '12 solo that would be cool too.

Don't have anything to sell ... I gave my '11 seat to my brother to replace his 2010 SESG seat. So I was just going to order a replacement '11 seat - got the idea that maybe a '12 owner would want to swap (for rider backrest option).

Seems like I should just order a '12 setup to replace my '11 seat.

mjb765, I'm interested.  Looking at doing the swap to get the rider backrest.  But I do not have the 2012 yet.  I'm expecting it any day now.  Was scheduled to ship on the 7th, and as far as my dealer knows it did.  So who knows, may show up today.  :orange:
