Is / has anyone using or used either or both Xtralights (Xtralights.com) and/or Xenonlink (Xenonlink.com)
Looks like the Xtra Ballast are better made, but cost is also considerably more and while you may get what you pay for I am looking for feedback on either or both systems. Thanks
Also anyone with experience using either or both ... I am looking for a comparision of
xtra ~4300k bulbs vs. Xenonlink ~5000k bulbs
or
comparisons of the 6000k and 8000k bulbs
TIA for any feedback.

i've used both xtralights and xeonlink hid lights. i settled on the xeonlink 6000k for both roadglides. been in my 08 tr for over 2 1/2 years without a hitch :orange: really lights up the road, especially with the dual lights in a tr.
the xeonlink was 1/3 (or less) the cost. and the 6000k has a hint of blue that really makes roadsigns stand out. i think they have come out with slimline ballast too. my ballast is a bit bulky, luckily there is lots of room under the fairing.
one light on my 09 serg doesn't fire up intermittently, but it hasn't posed enough of a problem to trace down the failure. :nixweiss: cycling the ing. switch solves it for now.
i went through three different manufactures on the hid lights, tried the 5000k in xtralights and 6000k with xeonlink. i forget the name of the third company i tried, the xtralights are great quality but not enough to warrant the price difference for me.

Thanks for the feedback, wondering a few things, was anything wrong with the Xtralights or was it just a cost / benefit thing for you as the extralights are considerable more expensive. Have you ever tried the 8000k ?

i just bought ddm tuning h.i.d. kit, its a digital ballast(pretty small) and lifetime warranty 5000k brite white 55/35 bulb. you do have all the other color temp. choices also $ 46.00 h-4 hi/lo kit

I'm using the DDM 55W slim ballasts in the 6000 very bright white and very cost effective

When ordering from Xenonlink ask for either the slim ballasts or the "Upgraded" ballasts. The upgraded ballasts are for vehicles with daytime running lights. These eliminate the need for relays (I found this out the hard way after wiring up a car with the older style). Customer service for me has been great with Xenonlink. I have had a bulb here or a ballast there go and they have covered everyone and got me the replacement in 2-3 days.

the main reason for my choice of xeonlink is the bulb base length on the bulbs are the shortest i tried and it worked out better for the headlight trim fitment after final light adjustment, again tr's are a unique animal. :2vrolijk_21: after futher reflection my xtralights are 4300k and showed this to be there pure white color, they are much better than stock for sure. the xeonlink 6000k said it was there pure white, there is a hint of blue and reflective surfaces seem to react better with them. at one time i had the 4300k xtralights in my serg and 6000k xeonlink in my 08tr so i had a side by side comparison. the xeonlink won out in performance with my old eyes. also when i purchased the above i got the xeonlink kit for $119, the xtralight kit was $450 er so, you do the math. not sure what the prices are now.
i have the H4 Bi-Xenon 6000k xeonlink in both my road glides. ;D

I have the xtralights on both SEEG's. Have had them for years and I love them. Tried the 8000 but didn't like the lighting. Using 4300's and I am very happy.

I have had the xenonnlink since 08 and have worked fine, even during the daytime people say the light is much more noticeable
