Not sure about the black hardware, but the brown pad is available at H-D.

Great looking bike you have...   :2vrolijk_21: Awesome colour and I know what you mean about the king TP, would look much better with a chopped one.

I know everything what you're looking for is available through your dealer because I checked it all out when I almost purchased the maple beauty a year ago, but decided to keep what I have for now.

Good luck & ride safe

Sweet looking ride!
I put the same setup on my Skunk with the black hardware and it blends right in.  Had to convince the detach backrest upright that it was supposed to fit but then all worked well.  All I need now are the magnetic caps that go over the docking points when the backrest is off.

It went on my list for Christmas. Now I need to just wait and see if I have been good or not! :D

Mine is off.  The question I have for HD, where the hell is the TALL backrest in brown for the Maple Glide?  My lady finds this short one extremely uncomfortable.

I had my local dealer put the brown backrest pad on the long bar and there wasn't a problem...much more comfortable for the BSR!

Any chance you can post a picture of that HIshaggy?

HIshaggy, thanks for the pic, I really appreciate it.  Do you know if I can buy that same black tall back rest bar without the pad?  or does it come with the pad and i just swap them out with the 3 screws?

Dropped $180 on the tall black backrest bar today and transferred mahogany brown pad from shorty over to it.  That should make my girl happy until I can get a chopped tourpak with attached back pads.

;D thanks for the help it looks like the short one might be a little hard to get tour bag secure. what you guys think ? also wonder if they make it with a rack combo?
note = I still like the tour bag untie it and throw in the room DONE :mango: lets cruise

That's the other reason I wanted the taller backrest besides more lean back comfort for the lady, was to allow a bag like my Tourmaster one to slide over and be more secure.  I'll post a pic tonight.
