 :soapbox: WHAT WILL THIS MEAN TO US:  ARROGANCE, LONGER WAIT TIMES FOR SERVICE, POOR QUALITY WORK...WITH AN "OH WELL" ATTITUDE!  Hopefully for some of us less mechanically inclined, we can find some good quality reliable independent shops!  I have another 14 months, but I think I may just cancel my extended warranty and say screw it!  The local shops convenient to me  SUCK after they closed and merged our closest store!

Extended warranty work can be accomplished at an authorized independant shop.....just can't do factory warranty work there.

Just got an e-mail about Tibby's Harley-Davidson in Springfield, Mass closing at the end of June.

Are they closing or just dropping the Harley dealership?  The line on their webpage as follows isn't clear on that:

"Tibby's has decided to retire from its position as an authorized Harley-Davidson dealership..."

Any chance they're just going indie?

Rumor going around that Willie G's pool boy is making a list and checking it twice of dealerships that are to be put on the chopping block.  Supposedly some will get the news within the next few weeks.  Anyone heard anything?   :nixweiss:

Won't be long and out dealership network will be as limited as Honda and BMW!  One of the reasons I am a Harley guy is the network available while I'm on the road!
