Difference between 41852-08A & -08B ?

Cleaning up the garage today just to keep my mind off of other things...and discovered a set of rear pads (41852-08A) that were bought for my "12 a few years ago and never installed. Looking on Ronnie's Parts Finder I see that my '20 calls for 41852-08B.

Is there a significant difference?  Usable in my '20?

Part is the same fit, some detail was changed: material, color, durability etc. Next will be C when it’s changed again.

Could also be change of vendor who supplied the item. That will result in an ‘updated’ part number suffix.

I can’t say this is why, but I can tell you very often when it comes to brakes a manufacturer will change the material because of issues with noise or dust or a pad that is too harsh for the rotor surface. Or, and here's the catch some materials work to stop the vehicle in a shorter distance. Not sure you will ever find out the actual reason why they change the pads.
And of course keep in mind since it's Harley it could be a cost issue for the old part number.
