Enclosed Auto and Bike Trailer Suggetions
« on: March 18, 2019, 04:51:08 PM »

Looking for a enclosed trailer that our Road Glide and Jeep JKU will fit in. Will need a minimum of a 8' height for the Jeep to fit.
Hoping I can find something so the bike can be loaded from the side to cut down on overall trailer length.
Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

Harley won't fit sitting crosswise inside a 8' foot trailer. Maybe a snowmobile style with the deep V-Nose and a angle entrance door on the curb side front would let it sit at somewhat of an angle but really wouldn't save much in overall length.
If your Jeep is a 4-door it will need at least 18' length and the bike needs about 10' which leaves just enough room to let you maneuver around both to tie-down etc. That is a pretty standard Race Type Car trailer @ 28', but you will need to verify that 8' interior height. Most aren't.
Depending on where you live Cardinal Trailer Sales in Indiana will sell you/order you whatever you want and let you pick-up at the factory. This would save you a few bucks.
This will take a pretty solid trailer, as your Jeep is heavier than a race car and the bike is close to 900# more which means a equally HD truck to pull this load safely.
