Yesterday morning we got up, ate breakfast and rode out to the train station....

Don conversing with some of the charicters from that era....

and Rich attracts em, too....

all aboard.....

We're in for the two hour journey up the mountain.

and whose the lady standing at the end of the car?

We saw a heard of wild range horses, coyote and a bob cat.......just like in the wild west movies.

.....we were riding the original rails, on an original train from the 1800s through some of America's history.......traveling through Gold Hill, Silver City, etc once known as America's Richest City due to all the gold and silver being taken out of the hills around.

the wild horses in a field of wild flowers.......almost looked like statues until the whole heard took off in a gallop.

all of a sudden this thing came flyin around the corner.....popping and sputtering and a little smoke, too.  Needed a paint job about 50 years ago, but it was runing.
