8 Days, 4108 Miles, 113 hours in the saddle.....

Just got back from my first big ride.  Left north Georgia on Thursday, July 15 and got back on Thursday, July 22.  Went through Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, to Denver, hit the 14's there including Pike's Peak, Breckenridge, Boulder, then up to Wyoming, Nebraska, and South Dakota.  Stayed in Deadwood, visited Black Hills, Custer State Park, Devil's Monument, Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave Nat. Park, Badlands, Crazy Horse Monument, Spearfish Canyon, AWESOME TRIP!  Bought a couple of helmet cams and got about 70 hours of solid HD 1080p video.  Bison, elk, sheep, prairie dogs, hawks, eagles, deer, we saw them all.  The people were just as AWESOME out there, and the food was fantastic.  Saw two other Orange Crush bikes (one in Colorado and another in South Dakota), and met and made many great friends along the way.  NOT A DROP OF RAIN IN ALL 8 DAYS!!!!

8 months ago I was laying in a hospital bed wondering if I would make it after my crash.  God gave it all back, and I am ever thankful.

Pre-rally Sturgis.  A storm came over the mountain just after this pic was taken.  Softball sized hail in the area but none got us!

I think they though my Harley was another bison!  Right after this pic the bulls started fighting so we gave it some gas and got out of there!
