Title: 2019 CVO SG sumped
Post by: CQ Harley Rider on June 16, 2019, 07:04:36 AM
My 2019 CVO SG sumped at 6000km's, it was 6 months old.

HDAU arranged for  replacement engine to be installed, the tech at the dealership told me even though mine wasd a 2019 model it was a 10/18 build so it probably missed the oil pump upgrade.

Had a bit of drama with Harley roadside assist as I rode the bike to the dealership rather than arrange it to be transported. At first they weren't going to cover my out of pocket expenses. HDAU got involved and I got motel room, fuel, car hire and return flight to collect the bike covered in the end.

Only downside to the 3 day ride home from where the bike was, was getting done for speeding. Apparently running my engine in isn't a valid reason to speed. :P

The bike feels a lot more torquey when accelerating, could be my imagination. just feels like the new motor goes harder.
