My two new toys.........
« on: September 02, 2004, 06:07:20 PM »

Bought a boat a couple weeks ago......bought a new truck yesterday, to pull it.

The boat......a 1989 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer that's loaded with features like air conditioning, heating, custom swim platform, central vacuum to get all the sand up out of the carpets.

I want that truck!

The boat looks great...we have a newer sundancer and love it.  We like to do a surf & turf thing, take the boat out and circle Aquidneck Island (Newport, RI) then take the Bike and Ride around Ocen Drive stopping at Flo's for the best fried clams.

The helm is a little sparse on your boat, you need to get a Chartplotter, and Radar if there is fog in your area...there is around us!

Here is our Sundancer:

And here is the Helm...It has gotten me through some really tough fog (<1/8 mile visibility):

Very nice JC. l guess that answers my question! Leave it to you to provide a slide show as well! Man with class. All the electronic gizmo's will come with time as you meet others--something with which you will have no difficulty doing. Boating is all about the social thing. I've been trying to get down south to get out of the northeast for many years. Pool, boat, etc.

Got an email from Allison awhile ago (remember the model that was in the photos that they used my bike and Harley truck for?).

Very nice boats, I owned a Sea Ray Boat dealership until I sold it and retired. I didn't have time to work and ride my bike so something had to go..... I still have a bike and no longer have a boat dealership [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]. I kept a new 1999 Sea Ray 260 Bow Rider, it now has 23 hours on it and has yet to be put in the water this year.... the bike rules again.
