you know when you finish your ride and turn off you bike . . . there are lots of pops and pings coming from the engine . . .  what is that sound coming from? . . . . anybody know?

Mostly, the sound is from your headers and heat shields cooling off...  They cool at different rates because the type and thickness of the metal differs - and the heat shields are solidly attached to the headers with clamps.  All very normal...

Yep, that's all it is ... nothing to worry about. Mine seems to do that much less now (and not as long) since I did the exhaust and tuner.
