I have a 01 SERG that I am having an electrical problem with. On 2 separate occasions while riding the bike will loose all electrical and just go dead. After coasting to the side of the road you can restart the bike and ride a ways before it repeats itself. It seems the longer you let the bike sit the longer you can ride it. The last time this happened the siren would start and you would have to find the key fob to disarm it. It has spent a total of 4 weeks (2 weeks per occurence) at the local Harley shop but they have been unable to get the bike to have the same syptoms while there and have been unable to find the problem. I have an extended warranty on the bike but until the component fails I am at a loss as to what to do next and am reluctant to keep riding the bike. I was wondering if anyone had heard of this same problem and had any ideas what the issue might be. The main circuit breaker on the bike was involved in a recall and was replaced. I would sure appreciate any ideas on what to look at on the bike to try and get it corrected. Thanks.
