Removing Passenger Floorboard Inserts
« on: August 14, 2008, 11:07:38 AM »

Ok, I am replacing my black passenger floorboard mounts on my 2003 SERK with chrome ones.  I need to remove the passenger floorboard inserts without breaking off the nubs or nipples that pull through to the underside of the floorboard.  My question is, how do I do this without breaking off the nub/nipples?  I know, very carefully.. but any tips...?  Pry up and push them through with an awl??  :nixweiss:

Any help/tips/tricks appreciated!

Push the nubs through with a #3 Phillips bit after soaping them.
