A very informative page for those of us interested in such things. However, maybe I am reading it wrong, but the 2008 FLHTCUSE3 Anniversary color Canyon Copper/Black Onyz are numbered to 1800. I have 1502 of 1800. Way back I wrote the MoCo on the '08 numbers and recieved the attached listing 3265 for the Canyon Copper/Black Onyz. A little confused.
2008 FLHTCUSE3
White Frost/Silver Mist 1,211
Canyon Copper/Stardust Silver 1,335
Crystal Copper/Black Onyx (Anniv) 1,731

The numbers posted are correct. The numbers in your Solensky letter for the other two colors are correct, but the Annie number is bogus.
I'm gonna be quite blunt, and it's directed at nobody but Solensky. That idiot moron has sent out more error than fact, and I would only use one of his letters as toilet paper. They've caused several issues over the real numbers, but because they're on H-D letterhead from an employee, my exhaustive numbers that are direct copy/pastes by management from the H-D database for every year/model/color/market have been questioned for validity and credibility.
Solensky needs a swift kick in the teeth. Everybody was running around for years, even on e-bay, thinking and saying there were only 64 Blue Flame FXRs. Several other notable errors have come up... ALL from Solensky's incompetent misrepresentations of information.
The final numbers provided in this thread are 100% accurate. I've confirmed them all with H-D Customer Service multiple times over a period of many months in the past year and a half. The volume and detail of the numbers speak for themselves.
You have one of 1,731 of a planned 1,800 run. The badges were produced before the bikes. There are always slightly fewer than badges indate. None of the '08 Annies met their badge-projected numbers. Neither did the '10.5 Crimson Mist Ultras at 992 of the 999 on the badges.
