Glare For Sea Doo?
« on: July 04, 2007, 12:00:47 PM »

I have been loving the Glare products I bought on my bikes and just had a thought; I am towing a pair of Sea Doos back home in the morning. They have been stored here in the Florida salt and sun for about 3 years and look it. I was thinking after getting them home to start with Spider to get all the scratches and chalking off the using the polish. Any one got any suggestions? :nixweiss:

Mark,
From what you describe, Spider might not be enough.  You may need to start with Micro or something stronger like the clay product from Glare.  Then use micro, spider and pro polish in succession until you get them looking right.  Spider is only good for swirls.

I am in the process of restoring 2 WaveRunners that have been setting in the sun for years. I found some Gelcoat restorer. Has anyone used this?

It's a 6 year old thread but I'll play. Just had delivered a bottle of gelcoat restorer. Don't know anything about this stuff. It is going to be used on an old Glastron that will start seeing the water more this year. Keeping my fingers crossed.
