Title: Fairing project
Post by: bandit on January 10, 2014, 06:55:16 AM
for me the fairing of the 2009 looked somehow naked against the 2012/13.
So I tried to stay close to the 2009 layout, but added 20xx-look. Here is
the result.

Nice job! I have always thought the 09's titanium color has been one of the best.

Have you been able to determine if that visor is going to make any difference in the light beam?

Another Mean Mug customer. I love the compliments I get on mine.  :2vrolijk_21:

DooD. You don't see any difference in the light pattern. I ran mine all last year with it.

Got a part number for those TS bulbs? Are they like the White/Orange Dynamic Ringz only with amber color only? I didn't see them on their website.

OBB, I'll bet they are the white and amber. The amber lens make it where you can't tell the diff. CD website actually says to be used with clear or smoked lens only. Europe may require amber, they got some weird laws.

Interesting. I didn't think about that. I could keep my amber covers then to get the desired look. I have white running lights on the bike also and don't want any issues with a LEO about having more than 4 forward facing white lights.
