Found a 2001 Blue/Black and White SERG for sale.  I can have it sitting in my garage in San Diego for 15K  One owner 56k mileage Milwaukee area dealer.   Looking for opinions on possible pitfalls

Milwaukee House of Harley's is the dealer, Geno is the salesman  anyone know the bike perhaps, the dealer, Geno  anything ?

I bought my bike from House of HD in Milwaukee.  The bike looked really good and only had 14K miles on it.  BUT.... I had to do a top end rebuild on it... Some folks in WI don't know how to store a bike for winter.  The compression was down on both cylinders and leakage was bad too.  Compression was like 145 and leakage was 13 & 15%.  After going .010 over on the jugs and getting new pistons and rings I added SE heads (w/comp. release valves), AC kit, V&H mufflers, and a high output starter.... it runs great.

My advice would be to have the engine checked out...  I doubt if it will be any worse than the one I bought.  And don't expect everything to be with the bike...  I ended up ordered a $1000 worth of part to get everything that was supposed to be with the bike.

There are also 2 '01 SERG's here in Phoenix for sale.  1 Blue, 1 Black.  Both high $.  The Blue one is heavily modified and is VERY SHARP.

If anyone is REALLY interested in either of the ones here in my area....  Let me know, I can go check them out for you.

A friend of mine mentioned that Barnett H-D (El Paso) has a slew of CVO's including 2004 & 2005's and also a blue/black, 2001 FLTRSEI,w/20K miles. They took good care of him when he flew in to buy one, picked him up at the airport and had it serviced and ready to roll, etc.

The dealer in Milwaukee promised to e-mail me some photos and never got back to me. Meanwhile back at the ranch, along came a chance for a complete set of painted parts for my 03 SERK for 3k and I bought the Hoppe fairing etc etc so my wallet's toast for a bit. Thanks for all the suggestion.
