Can someone tell me if that rack with the leather side covers was a detachable or a fixed rack?

Don all the ones i have seen with the leather sides came on SERG were detachable.

I posted something on this awhile back The "leather" side covers are actually ABS and snap onto tour-pak rack part number 53107-96. They were standard eqpt on the 00 SERG and never seen again thereafter EXCEPT if you know what to ask for .

 they are still available  4 separate part numbers to buy

53189-00   53190-00    53198-00    53199-00  about $200 for all four part #'s
