Well light arrived, latest email says need Vin for medallion so I provided a Vin for medallion now lets see what happens next

As long as you provided a 2012 SESG VIN you will be good..if you gave them the vin from your '11 it won't work (at least it shouldn't)

It doesnt need to be a '12 FLHXSE, it can also be a '12 FLTRXSE

Both use the same illuminated insert.

Have to acknowledge this as the most singularly popular thread in the history of this forum.

Who knew that having an illuminated tank console could be so riveting among all of the other issues that might concern a CVO SG owner?

When I started the thread I was interested in updating my '11 SESG.  I took the easy way out though and bought a 2012 instead.
