Considering how much of a premium you have to pay to get a CVO they should be perfect.  And if not, your dealer should be ordering the replacement parts to make it that way.  I know I would not stand for it on a bike I paid over $32,000.00 for.  You want to cut corners and quality on a regular Street Glide, fine.  But that is just not acceptable on a CVO IMO.

I don't think they should be cutting corners on a regular SG either....it's still $19K

Something as simple as the console trim should have been replaced--either at the factory quality check (HA HA) or at least caught by the dealer at the PDI.

Mine was off center also, it is double stick taped on. dealer changed it in about 5 minutes, pulled the other one off, cleaned left over residue, stuck the new one on. Wish I had know about the lighted one back then

It asked for a vin number on the website? Or did you go to a dealer?

If your dealer is  :2vrolijk_21: they will order it for you and just input a VIN number from any 2012 CVO SG. There are a few 2012's already out there in the U.S. so it should not be that hard to get a number.

Over here since not too many make it here and when the do it will probably be October/November and then you got to get a number...ish. From what i understand the Harley parts system will not allow you to proceed with completing the parts order without the number.

Not my dealer.....this is one of the internet dealers where you can order online. I wouldn't waste my time asking the local dealer.

Hey Mike.

Do you know if this internet dealer will sell to Canadians? :nixweiss:

Tell him that the Canadian dollar is still worth more the the U.S. :2vrolijk_21:
