Not always.  I got an 8GB nano that just says "Custom Vehicle Operations" on it.

OK I found a copy of a press release from Harley that says that the 2011 CVO SG comes with a console that lights up. It is under the greenie, 4th one down.

This was on a memory stick with the B&S and it was handed to the press at last years 2011 new model release.

Nope....called the other day and was told they were expecting any day now.....yeah...right......good thing I don't really need it.

Just for grins I tried to order one of these parts through LSHD.  Order went in, showed being processed, then about a week later got a message saying it was a VIN protected part and asking for a VIN.  So that experiment suffered the same fate as those "experiments" asking new gf's about...  Well, never mind, I was younger then.  But the part didn't come through.  That's the important thing here.  Really.

It wasn't an unexpected response at all MJ.  If would have lucked out and actually scored a part could've just passed it on to Travis for his bike or someone else here lusting for the piece.  Good luck on scoring one .

Thanks Don..I need 2 things--lots of luck and a naive dealer.....

Good thing there is no rush...I still need to order the light assembly for it, but if I ordered both together with my luck I would get the light and not the insert so it would be useless.

That makes sense.  Only the one part reports as VIN protected anyway.  So if you score it can then buy the light at your leisure.  No risk of an unreturnable electrical part that way.
