Guys, international models and US models are the same except for the rear fenders and smoked turn signals, aren't they?

AND the MPH to KM speedo.

When I said early that an International VIN was needed it is because i tried to get the insert with a U.S. VIN. and it would not go threw. Once i got a International/Canadian VIN the order went threw. Also you cannot use the same VIN for the same part. So I am told.

I used a US vin to get my lighted insert....and the person that gave it to me used it 2 weeks before to get the same insert. I was also told about the no repeat vin/part thing, but for some reason it worked for me

No distrespect.. but I hope your work does not pay off ....I have been working in my shop for over a month and am close to an aftermarket fix.  My luck HD will offer it in a Fall ..Xmas accessory book

Follow back on this thread. I posted pictures and a quick run down on the install. Very easy.

The red CVO light blends in with the rest of the instrument and LED gas lights. It rounds it out.

There is one on eBay at the moment item no 330665288826 make a note of VIN & away you go, good luck

It will be interesting to see how many inserts are put through with the same Vin number

Makes a joke of the whole VIN protected thing, surely they would have the sense to have some way of checking VINs that are used to order, but then that is common sense really
