Talked to my dealer today. They said getting the part doesn't look like a problem but it's backordered until Feb 2. I may have to sign something that says the original was not available.

Ordered the insert and a week later got an e-mail wanting the old insert. I told them it was not available to send so waiting on their reply.

So give them your old one.  Want to bet the parts counter guy won't know the difference and will just take one part for the other?  What's the worst that can happen?  You keep the part you've already got....

Being that I live in Korea kind of hard to hand it over.  Man what a pain just to keep up with the Jones.

You'd need a heluva ramp for the jump.

Not ready for that jump. Maintaining bikes thru the internet can be painful. Especially in this case with the insert. Just can't get over that us '11 SESG owners just want to light up the bike some more with an existing connection that came from the factory for this item and the MOCO is making it hard. I mean it ain't like they will be losing money by releasing this item.

Received console & light yesterday, but bike is at dealers with fairing & lowers off waiting to be painted, so dropped off parts so they can fit them whilst it is all apart, have to say there is hell of a lot of wires & connectors behind the batwing ! Will post up pics when all back together
