Title: Speedometer Calibration
Post by: Stewie_FL on December 11, 2021, 05:18:31 AM
Have a 2020 CVO Ultra and happened to notice that at highway speeds my speedo is reading at least 5 mph faster than I am actually going if not more according to the speed read on my GPS. I do 10 mph over the limit on average and could never figure out why people were always passing me. Also, we are racking up more miles than we are actually driving which could affect resale and warrenty if it has a mileage  clause. Anyone else having this issue?

Sadly my 2010 and current 2014 read 4-6 mph fast at 70 mph.  Both bike had the TTS master tune and was able to get within 1 mph.

Every Harley I have owned has read fast, usually 3 mph.  My 19 CVO is slow

Sounds like you should still be under warranty. I had my 2011 recalibrated by Harley with their Digitech I believe. Been awhile.

If I remember correctly Harley will correct it if its more than 3 mph off.   I do remember we have my wife bike checked, under warranty and were told it was not far enough off to have it done under warranty.
