I agree that this section should be reunited with the SERG section.  I am a proud owner of one of the originals (an '01) and if the Ultra badge means tourpak and lowers, then the originals that got all the RG guys juiced on the CVOs in the first place were Ultras of sorts too.  From what I've read several of the folks who call their 09's hotrods, have spend the $$ to put one of or more of the "Ultra" pieces on anyway.  I personally like the concept of the new ones when compared to mine, although I agree the paint colors were more striking on the 09s, plus I am not completely sold on the looks of the full-size tourpak and last but not least, I miss the Screamin Eagle on the fairing. (yes I've seen one in person).

cheers,

Blue

Well, it the Street Glide and Ultra Classic are different sections then it makes sense that the FLTRSE and FLTRUSE are segregate - though very similar.

Other difference besides TourPak and Lowers are:
1. Intercom
2. Aprons between the bags and the fender
3. Lower ground clearance on the SERG

I think another way to look at it would be that if the Road King, Ultra Classic, Street Glide and Road Glide are all on the same frame, why aren't they all just in one section? Cause they're different.

Enjoy,
DesertHOG

I'm wondering who will be the first to have a Bird painted on their 2011 fairing.  Too easy...get rid of the scallop comming off the headlight and ghost a bird in above the filler stripe that leads into the tank.  :2vrolijk_21:  It would bring the 2011 into the Super Bird fold :orange: :orange: :orange:

Funny that you mention it because I thought about it after reading all the guff about how it's not really a "Bird". We've got a fellow located here in Albuquerque that does some really hot work. I'm thinking about getting a quote from him. Just wondering what it would do to the value of the bike. In most cases a hot paint job adds value. Not sure about what a "Screamin Eagle" ghost would do for the value.

Just buy a fairing plain primer , have the paint job done and keep your stock fairing in the attic.  Zanotti sells a primered fairing for a little over $200.00 :nixweiss:

Why isn't the 2011 SERG Ultra down with the other RoadGlides?

Probably for the same reason the SEEG's and SEUC's have separate categories....but I'm just guessing...   ::) :P

It's still Neal's fault.  For the site he could've put it wherever he wanted.  HD marketing is a minor fiefdom compared to the awesome responsibility that is the Power of the Neal.  Or it could be the whole world was just messing with you?  You know, like a conspiracy.  From the moon onboard Capricorn One.  Piloted by Elvis and copiloted by JFK.  Aboard a space plane named Road Glide 4.
