Trask Turbo
« on: August 28, 2012, 06:19:59 PM »

Anyone know of a shop where I can get a trask turbo installed in the NJ area?  I was looking at the dyno sheet on the site for an 07 FXDSE and it was 148.7 HP and 152.4 TQ on mild boost and non-intercooled.

I can do it my self but don't want to dedicate a weekend if I can get a competent shop to do it so I have less downtime.

He does procharger and not Trask. That place is about 8 miles from my house. That would've been way to easy.  ;)

I should ask him if he'd install it though.

I did call them yesterday. There aren't any dealers near me in NJ and I'm pretty sure I could install myself, but I don't know who would tune it.

How has your experience been with them?

They use a T max tuner and have good base maps. From there you should be able to tune tweak the rest out of it.  Kit wise I have no idea what you intend to use it for.. Simple set up, makes great power, the only feed back I get are the guys with them local and that is that they can be a bit  too warm due to the routing of plumbing.
