Did 100 miles on the new seat this afternoon....loving it!!! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Tomorrow will be a 350 mile day, so more time to get it broken in.  Diva is happy with the heater, and my ass is thanking me for giving it a good place to be.  Backrest is also more supportive.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Brian and Gary...I'm sorry, bros.  Just join me and Suzanne for our ride down to Cedar Key, then to Tampa, then over to West Palm to visit with Jorge, Dave, and whoever else shows up!!

We just got back from a 300+ mile ride today...left the house this AM with temps in the low 30's to meet Tbone and his wife, Ilene, in Northwestern Georgia.  The heaters on the seat keep your buns nice and toasty on high, even at those temps, and on low, it just lets you know it's there.

Not one complaint from my ass or from my co-pilot...no squirming around in the seat for me, regardless of feet on the floorboards or on the pegs.  I know it's just going to get better when it's fully broken in, but so far it's one of the best things I've added to the bike  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  For today's run, my butt gave the seat a solid 10!!

Glad someone is going to be doing some riding today. Doesn't look good for here, and I would hate to think what temperatures are north of me. [smiley=nervous.gif]

Heh, you can ride up and visit me, and really test out that heated seat/gear. ;D

As long as we're bundled up and it's not raining or snowing, we just might surprise you some weekend!   [smiley=drink.gif]  The problem with bundling up and wearing the chaps is that I'm having trouble getting on the bike... I look like the Michelin guy.   ;D

Terry,

Brian may be right - maybe you'd like to send it my way for an impartial evaluation and test report.

I have to admit, I sat on that new seat yesterday and I could feel an OCD attack starting.  I've learned to recognize it when it starts and I'm sometimes able to avoid it... at least for a little while...  ::)

TBone,

I hate to be the one to tell you  -- they have dual controls!

Corbin was out at the Galveston Rally this weekend and they had the "company" B&O there with that seat on with a non-matching backrest.  Very comfortable! Very nice.

I'm afraid I'm gonna hafta order it -- I recall they said they had a special going for $800 and change with matching backrest.

Cheers,

Mark

Make sure you take note of TCnBHam's signature and give him a PM before you order.
