« on: December 08, 2006, 10:31:22 AM »

Before I place the order, does anyone know of a cheaper dealer/distributer to purchase Brembo brakes and calipers for my new SEUC from then QTMI.com?

thanks...Scott

my understanding was they were the exclusive for HD fit brembo's , other than what's available through HD.  I believe Grover has Brembo's on his ride you might want to ping him

The brackets do not look bad.  Still wish they had a direct bolt on option available.

Well..... they don't look bad.  Of course they don't really look good either.  But I ain't bad mouthing 103s brakes or bike no matter what.  It stops like a sumbitch when he squeezed the lever though.  That's the most important part.

Why not look at the Differential Bore direct mount 4-piston caliper from PM with the Lyndall pads? I've always liked the PM. Never seems to get mentioned as another option. Any reason?

I agree that from a purely functional perspective, the improved performance of the stock calipers with Lyndall pads make the expense of PM or Brembo calipers very hard to justify.

Another alternative is to use sport bike calipers (Tokicos?). A company named Fab Kevin makes the mounting brackets to bolt them on HD's. They are a fraction of the cost of Brembos and work extremely well. Just another option. :2vrolijk_21:
