S&S 1.125" Rear Drive Belt Strength
« on: July 25, 2017, 10:07:25 PM »

Does anyone know if the S&S 1.125"  rear drive belt is strong enough for a Touring 124" LC motor? I don't do burn out or wheelies. I have the 139 tooth 1.5" for now. The bike is not finnished yet. Thanks

My 2000 FXR4 CVO S&S V111 has over 65k miles on it's 1.125" rear belt. My custom V124LC has 10:1 compression with V585 cam.
My V111 hhas 121 HP about 118 Tq. I figured the V124 LC will have the almost the same power as the TC motors. The big TC and EVO use the same cylinders,  heads and pistons as far as I know. The difference is the bottom ends.
