Linny,

I ordered it just as it appears here: http://www.corbin.com/harley/baggers/hdflh97cvoyg.shtml - just go to the order tab on the page and use their order number.

No special requests, ordered from the CA location. Reach to handlebars and pedals is about the same as is distance to the ground.

Initially I thought why take off all those goodies you paid so much for.  But as I keep looking at it, it really begins to grow on you.  Have you lowered it, or does the seat just give you that impression.  It's a beautiful bike and it shows the care you've given it.  Ride safe!

Brett,

Not lowered, I think that making the tour pak detachable and adding the Corbin "Young Guns" seat just gives it a more streamlined and slammed look thus the appearance of being lowered. I also struggled with the same thinking about removing things that were built into the overall cost of the bike and I thought that by making things detachable I could have the best of both worlds (touring and bar hopper). The modifications really add to the versatility of the bike and by adding the Hawg Wired "Four In The Face" audio system the sound quality is vastly improved. I have the ability to ride without the tour pak using the front four speakers powered by the Hawg Wired Amps or using all six speakers with the tour pak attached. The tour pak speakers are powered by the HK stock radio. I also added docking hardware so that I can use a sissy bar and backrest pad for the passenger when I am using the Corbin seat. This setup really gives you lots of riding options.

That really does give it the "go fast" look--so fine.

No, My seat is from an '04 electra glide CVO, I bought it from a member on this board. I love this seat much better than the couch cushion one that came on my bike stock. it allows me to sit back a little further, and lower. Wife hates it however. Still goin to get a Corbin, saving up my pennies.

Welcome!  Really like the look W/O the TP.  Handles better too, I'll speculate.

HML,

Riding with the tour pak detached changed the handling characteristics of the bike completely. I also like the versatility of being able to quickly re-attach the pak with the stock seat or the Corbin "Young Guns" seat or use the Corbin seat with a detachable sissy bar and passenger backrest pad for short rides with a passenger. The addition of the Hawg Wired "Four in the Face" audio system is also a great sound upgrade from the stock HK system. In addition, with the tour pak re-attached I still have all the original functions of the stock HK system in addition to having the rear speakers function as well for a total of six speakers. I only wish I had done these modifications sooner, I am enjoying the bike more than ever before.
