Title: Rinehart Mounting Refit
Post by: BLM777 on October 24, 2004, 09:13:55 PM
Apparently, several of the header welds on the rear cylinder have broken due to the solid attachment of the support to the frame.  My local HD dealer advised that Rinehart was sending out a replacement mounting that includes a rubber grommet to absorb some of the shock from the engine vibration to eliminate the problem.  Mine wasn't broken, but elected to make the change to avoid an "on the road" problem.

In the event that my description of the problem is lousy, I've include a pic of the mount repair.
