Dealer Price gouging
« on: April 28, 2005, 11:09:16 AM »

I am seeing alot of topics about prices over list on seeg's.  I'm in Colorado, one of the bigger bike populated states, and I have not seen it.  The same applies in Utah.  I found several Yellow seeg's, and bought mine for $29995, (I was notified it was in yesterday, 2 weeks from my deposit date), and I got the dealer to discount my extras, and the labor for the installs by $1300.  They wanted to steal my trade, so I said I would try to sell it on my own, and they still gave me the discounts.  Not bad considering what I am seeing posted here, plus I bought it at the Aspen Harley Davidson dealer, which can get whatever they ask for on any of their tricked out rides.
Just thought I would let you guys know that the deals are out there, and they don't care where you live.

Why take the easy road?  I prefer to come
to a stop slidin' in sidways, hangin' on
for dear life, just so I am able to say;
"Man what a ride!"

SE bikes go for msrp in upstate NY also.  I saw a red SE EG at a dealer a few weeks ago, straight msrp, $290 for freight & local sales tax out the door.
