My first dyno run
« on: April 08, 2004, 10:38:54 PM »

Just dynoed the bike today, SE A/C, Rineharts and Race tuner.  Tech said it is very diffucult to tune the bike with the Rineharts. I reset the trip meter and they put over fifty miles on the bike.  Overall it was about what I expected.  100.51 hp and 103.61 torque.

Interesting that they did that in MPH instead of RPMs.

You got basically what I got, 100 HP and I got 104 lb ft of torque.

MoChrome,
Don't know stock numbers, would guess 85hp/95 torque. I'm going to go back today and get the results showing the rpm ranges.  Would make more sense.

Does anyone have the SE air cleaner, SE pipes and their flash program?  I'm hoping this will get me to 100lbs torque and  a little more horses...  [smiley=nervous.gif]

Mine Dyno'd at 86.0 HP and 93.3 Torque.
My set-up is with the SE A/C, SE performance mufflers, and a program flash. Looks like I need to do some work on mine to get those numbers up! [smiley=nervous.gif]

Sounds good enough for me and better than stock.

BTW, I was raised in Mission Viejo from 1969 - 1984 (moved before my senior year of high school could start)!

I Fly back into Orange County quite regularly since then, boy how it has changed.

I moved here in 1987 when I got out of the Navy. I did not want to go back to Gardena. Got lucky and found a job in Irvine.

Attached is the dyno run with rpm instead of mph. My seat of the pants dyno was confirmed with the power band in the 3300 to 4500 range.

Seems to be sonsistant with what we're all getting with the stock cams (POS).  They're a high end cam.......that was the only way that they could get this motor by the EPA.
