Greg, thats not good with the bent well nut and plastic messed up.  Is the dealer going to take care of it?

Seems many dealers have messed up the windshield well nuts.  In Daytona two different new CVO's had stripped, or cross threaded well nuts so these guys could not demo shields like they wanted to.

Hmm.. guess I will have to be careful. I already installed the 19" HD Windscreen but I get knocked around at the shoulders down. I ordered one of these Freedom Shield in 18" hoping to do better.

Just ordered the 14" light tint. Not sure how long it will take to get it but I'll get a real good road test in June going to Texas and back.

OBB, it took about a week from order to shipping for mine plus a few days in transit.  They sent me a UPS tracking number when it shipped.  Be interesting to see Simon's 18 inch shield, he's a big fellow, hope it works for him.  Met him last fall in Nashville on his way to MV.  Saw someone in the forum had ordered a medium tint, will be interesting to see how much darker it is.

I got an email from Tracy at Freedom today. She said it should ship next Tues and 4 days transit to Ohio. I should be good for my trip to Texas in a few weeks.

Here is the 14 inch freedom shield in the new, medium tint. I hope to have some better pictures later but it is very nice.

Enjoyed a couple hours of saddle time with the new Freedom shield today. Excellent performance. Pushes wind slightly higher than stock and very smooth.

I ordered the 13" medium smoke Freedom Shield and have it on the bike now, but it's still in the protective wrapping.  I want to test it out first before removing the wrapping.  Gotta say I like the looks and fit of it, and it's not too dark.  The 13" is 3/4" less tall than the stock windshield, but with 2-3" of updraft that the recurve provides, I'm counting on less turbulence than stock while gaining a bit of view down over the top of the windshield in the exchange.  I'll do a report on it after I've put some miles on it with before and after pics.

Recently received the 14" dark tint. 8 days from order to door step. After ordering I was a little concerned that the dark would be a problem at night for those few times I look through it. No worries. I see well over it, in fact I could have gone with a 15" and been fine.

Being dark forces me to look farther forward, a good thing.

Im a happy customer.

Just installed a 14 medium tint on my 15 CVO yesterday. Same as most other people, I needed the air deflected just a touch more than stock which it does well. It does seem like it's just a touch noisier when riding into the wind at certain speeds??
It didn't fly off, and zero turbulence at speeds up to **mph(sorry, can't reveal my actual speed, but you'll notice that it was still in the double digits :coolblue:)

I have finally done it. I'm crossing over to the Shark Nose. Its Greg Ks fault. He said the new 2015 RG is the Bomb. I'm picking up a new black 2015 103 RK on Friday. Already ordered a Freedom 14" medium tint shield. Again, Greg's fault. Really looking for a ride with less buffetting while wearing a full face helmet. I have tried everything on the Batwing bikes to smooth out my rattling eyeballs at 80 MPH. Nothing works excepts slowing down or wearing a non DOT beanie helmet. I really hope this new RG works. If not I'm going to blame Greg.

I know a guy who can upgrade your header, mufflers and FI system.   ;D  Congrats on the new bike.  Greg hopes you like it, too.  We'll be expecting a new Avatar photo with the shark in nose-up attitude.
