Title: Infotainment Radio Problems/Replacement
Post by: DCFIREMANN on July 25, 2018, 09:33:11 AM
I went to Laconia this year and while there visiting Seacoast Harley I had my radio updated. Headed back into Maine for a scenic ride back to the cabin. While enroute I came up on an intersection under construction. Not wanting to let my bike idle for a long period I kept shutting it off. The last time I started it up the radio started beeping. 3 beeps and a 3 second pause then 3 beeps. This continued. So the next morning off to the dealer I went. They told me I had a corrupt file in the radio and it needed to be replace. It seems a combination of starting and stopping the engine along with an old battery was the cause. I had it replaced at my dealer when I returned back home. It seems this was a problem with the 2014 and 2015 model years. I now have a refurbished radio in my bike and so far everything is good. It has all of the latest updates so I should be good for a while. Just wondering if anyone else has had any problems. Oh and I now have fully paid for my ESP and I am ahead of the game. I love my ESP!!!!

Hey Dawg!   What's up?  Does the new radio play better music only sung by really hot girls or excellent bands?
