Shown below is a wrapped fender painted to match an orange SERG but it's on a 23" front wheel.  Whether it looks good is subjective.   :nixweiss:

Not so sure about that fender, but I have seen a Fatboy fender in place of the fugly oversized stock part and I thought it looked much better than stock while still fitting with the overall style of the bike.

There are bulletins out there from wheel manufacturers recommending against 21" or larger wheels on touring bikes.  The owner of the SERG with the 23" can not keep up in the twisties.  Worst of all, about two weeks ago he went down on a straight stretch of highway after developing a wobble in the rear end.  I was not there and thus did not see the accident and don't know if it was related to the front wheel.  I would not do it though.   :nervous:   :nervous:

That's a whole different topic!  You know, there are some who claim that there bike handles better with apes.   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:

Apes are far more comfortable than they look and the bike handles easier than it looks like it would.  But you definately want to have a 1 piece top clamp.  Don't ask me how I know.........o.k. it was a learning experience back in the 80s. :nervous: :nervous:
