Welcome to the site, glad you found us. What a great place to be. I worked at the hospital there, for Butch Anderson, in '93 and '96, a month each. Most memorable place was canyon De Chely, don't mind the spelling. Hope to revisit on the scoot there some day.

An aliby on most memorable...it was "Payday", OMG, population went from @ 25k to 250k overnight. You could say I stayed out of the local watering hole for those weekends, besides I was to busy in the ER. Good times though. I'll be back!!!

Sokool,
You hit the nail on the head about our population increase on the weekends, especially the 1st weekend of each month.  Small world in that you were here in the nineties.  I was riding a 94' Electra Glide during that time.  Next time you come we'll have to ride one of the many loops that average 300 miles with little to no traffic on any given Sunday.  Drop me a PM if coming this way.

A buddy and I went for a trip to ALBQ for a couple days, we had a rental van for the trip. On the way back to Gallup we kept passing all the folks walkin to town, I had this great idea, and talked my buddy into picking a dude up...well, it was @ 30 miles to town when we picked up the first walker. A couple miles down the way, this dude says this guy stumbling along the road was his cousin, asks if we could give him a ride as well. My great idea ended up hauling 8 folks into town, and we were full with 20 miles to. It was funny as hell, my bud kept looking over at me as though "FREDDIE" were in the back. The good folks said they could'nt give us any cash for the ride, and we didn't ask, but when we dropped them off, one dude told us to wait a minute while he got something from his "cousin". He then went inside the store next door and brought us a 12 pack of Coors.
Good times. My buddy was still nervous as hell when we got back to the hotel, he was even afraid to drink the cruddy beer.
 So much for my reflection on the past... :ROFLOL:
