delivery of '08 FLHRSE4
« on: August 09, 2007, 06:02:34 PM »

Happy to find this site! Happy to get this SERK! I'm just happy, can't sleep, need rest.... need my head examined for paying $33,000 for a motorcycle! But I'm happy. Credit check today and the dealer is 'assembling' the bike for pick-up next Saturday 'cause it's still in the crate. Good grief 110ci!!!!

OK, I'll try to compose myself... I'm from Eastern Virginia near the Bay. I've been riding for too many years but not done yet. I built an '04 Dyna into a pleasantly powerful 95 incher with 93HP but I'm ready to just ride for a while. This '08 SERK has excited me more than any bike I've seen for a while so I got one! It's the Black Diamond/Diamond Dust (Harley and their paint names!!!) and I went ahead and added the removable Tour Pack to it.

I like to help others with their engine work and have been Harleying for many, many years. I like engines - especially ones shaped like a Harley!! So, I've gotten into them - but my wife says "not this one".... we'll see.

Thanks much, hope to add-in here 'cause right now I love everybody!

Thanks, this is probably going to be a mutual exchange of the things we can do to antagonize the better half! But, she has her own and loves to ride - most expensive 'buddy' seat I've ever seen....'06 Low Rider. She wanted the '07 but at that time my bike was still an 88 - NO WAY!

This SERK seems to be in demand. I called all over VA and MD to find one. They must sell pretty quick - and the showrooms are still full of the '07 bikes....?

Extra change? Well, I appreciate the help!

Welcome and that's a great looking bike. I'm about a hour from you on the other side of Williamsburg.  I picked up a very nice 2003 a few weeks ago, love it.

Gidday from downunder
Love your new bike.We won't see the 08's for a few months
yet and you won't get much change from USD$50,000 so I
guess you've done real well. Love to see a few more pics
