Greetings everyone. New to the forum but not new to HD. Bought a new 2006 SE Fat Boy 3/2006 and picked up my new Black Diamond SE Road King yesterday. Rode the SERK about 150 miles yesterday, getting started on the break-in. This is one sweet ride. I'll get some pics posted soon.

Thanks, everyone, for the warm welcome. Here is a quick snapshot of my SERK and the spares. I say "quick" because I hurriedly took the picture as my dealer was pulling up to pick up my SERK. It has a motor problem. I'll post the details in the appropriate section but in the meantime, thanks again for welcome.

I am happy to report that my SERK is back home and ready to go. It appears that two bolts on the air intake assembly were not torqued properly at the factory. This caused a vibration noise that sounded similar to something in the motor banging around, but only in a certain rpm range and only after the motor was hot.

A big THANKS goes to Indianapolis Southside Harley-Davidson for their quick response and resolution.

It's time to ride.
