I know about prices for HD motorcycles here in Mexico. You pay way more than in the US and then you have to pay an annual tax on ownership ("tenencia"). For a CVO bike around $2,000 USD per year!

Normally we get Canadian versions of the bikes in Mexico. I am pretty sure the engine size should be the same, not sure on the XM module though.

Welcome from Michigan.  Hope your bike is all you want it to be!  Different countries have different laws regarding truth in advertising, and American corporations can abide by them or take advantage of them, whichever is in their best interest.  Hope it works out.
