Remote gdo q
« on: June 04, 2020, 02:56:42 PM »

I have a 2015 cvo rg, gdo working fine using headlight toggle switch for a number of years.

Stopped working today, before i go thru the reset procedures, is there a replacable battery in the system?

My 04 did.

Cheers!

The Harley branded systems installed on the 04-05 SEEGs (and later bikes) did not have a replaceable battery.  Picked up bike power to power the transmitter and triggered the transmitter via the headlight power.  Receiver was a 110 powered unit plugged in to the wall.  All the Harley branded units are that way.

The battery replacement on my 04 was for the siren.
Thanks

Yeap, stupid little 9v you had to remove the ECU and plastic mount assembly to get to.  Always used the longest lasting 9v lithium super duper battery you can get there.  It's really not worth the trouble it takes to change that damned thing.

Reset gdo receiver and reprogrammed opener on bike fixed the issue.

Thanks!
