09 Sound system

Currently using Hawg Wired system, speakers and tweeters In inner fairing with an amp. Starting to show its age in the 09 RG. One of the speaks is very bad sound. Maybe busted. 2 big speakers in bag lids with there own amp. Should I jus stick with what I have and just replace or upgrade? Or start over with a different system?

Soundz. . Get a 4 channel amp and their speakers.  Not cheap. But it's great stuff.  :2vrolijk_21:Stuart

I had the hogwired amps with hogwired speakers on my bike for several years (600w 3 pairs) before upgrading to focal speakers    There is no comparison      Focals rock.    But they are pricy

I had the focals too. Great speakers too. However they really are car speakers. Heat is a very big factor on how long they will last.  Pete at soundz really has it all dialed in.  Great soundz and can find a way to stay cool in the fairing or bags.  Makes a huge difference.   Stuart.

Did you use the  HD-DSP also?  What speakers for your fairing and bag lids on the 19?

I did the DSP. Yes. I got the iron 5x7s in the bags.   Very happy with the whole thing.  Stuart.

The speakers are Iron 65.    I have his 4 channel amp and I really like this set up. Never looked back.  It is pricey yes.   But you have it forever.  You do get what you pay for.    Stuart.
