Hello,

I am wondering if the stock SG CVO 2015 has a Narrow-Profile Outer Primary Cover or a regular one.

I would like to change my derby cover for a Willie G Skull one and I do not know if I need

A) part 25441-04A and the specific gasket http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/skull-derby-cover-25441-04a

or

B) part 25700469  http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/willie-g-skull-derby-cover

For '15, HD used the narrow primary and covers on only the "Low" models.  For model year '16, HD went to narrow primaries on all touring bikes.

So, if you check the fitment section of your links, you'll see that you want the 25441-04A  http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/skull-derby-cover-25441-04a

You should be able to reuse your gasket.

Thanks for the info. Well, the 25441-04A do not have any groove for the stock orange "O" ring rubber gasket, but 25700469 has.

I'm so confused, I've visited two dealers, two different opinions, both were not sure about that.

What would happen if I mount the 25441-04A with the appropriate gasket 25416-99C (large cardboard one) and have no evidence of leak ?

I changed My '15 RGU derby cover: 
Re: 2015 RGU: I'm Blue... So Blue... .  I don't recall either the stock or 110 cover having a groove but rather a flat area and a flat, red rubber gasket. 

If you mount it and it works with out leaking...

The 15  cvo sg comes with the regular outer primary  16 CVO and all other touring bikes come stock with the narrow  outer primary  as of 16  forward  . i have 15 cvo  that I have switched out to narrow outter  primary   it does help if you need a little extra legroom on the left side

no  but you can buy the   Derby cover  for 16 cvo sg and sell your that is what i did

I've eventually mounted the derby cover 25441-04A with the appropriate gasket 25416-99C on my SG 2015.

100 miles today, no leak, work like a charm
